Traditional Stone Village
Wow! 👀 We ourselves were impressed by this one-of-a-kind retreat venue (or should we say retreat village?) hidden in the tranquil mountains of North Portugal.
It has nine renovated stone houses and a set of rooms and workspaces for all kinds of activities from yoga to ceramic workshops. It lies roughly 2 hours from Lisbon and 1 hour from Porto. Each house has a different style and can hold from 2 to 8 people. There is a separate event house that can be rented out for your group with an outdoor platform with view of the mountains, an indoor room for activities and a private dining space.
The great thing is that this venue offers lots of on site creative workshops, allowing you to bring your participants closer to art and creativity. Apart from this it is possible to go through mountain trails, go mountain biking, canyoning or paragliding.
It has a total of 16 beds and another 10 sofa beds, so can accommodate around 26 -36 people.
